- Affiliate links for your hubs
A hub affiliate link lets another Kahana member send buyers to one of your priced hubs. When that buyer pays, the member earns a percentage of what you keep after fees. This is separate from the signup link on Earn.
Primary action: Open My affiliates in the app (Studio → Affiliates).
Two different affiliate programs
- Earn is Kahana’s signup program. You share a link that invites people to Kahana. That is not a hub link.
- Hub affiliate links are for a hub you own. Someone else shares that hub, and a sale through their link pays them a cut of your earnings on that sale.
Who can go live
Anyone signed in can open My affiliates and save a draft: price, affiliate percentage (10% to 80%), and whether new affiliates need approval or anyone can use the link.
The link stays a draft on the Free plan. It goes live only when you are on Growth (including a Growth trial) and you turn the affiliate link On with a price above zero. If a trial is still available, the page offers Start free trial. If the trial was already used, it offers Upgrade.
What a person earns
Kahana’s marketplace fee is 5%. Stripe’s card fee is estimated on top. The affiliate percentage applies to what you would keep after those fees, not to the full sticker price.
In the editor, a $13 hub at 20% shows what you keep on that sale and what the affiliate earns. Those two numbers update as you change the price or the percentage.
Commission sits for 14 days before it is treated as available. The affiliate needs a Kahana account. They do not need to be a member of the hub.
Create and share a link
- Open Affiliates in Studio.
- Choose Add link and pick a hub that does not already have one.
- Set the price and the percentage. Choose Approval required or Anyone can use.
- Turn the link On when you are on Growth and ready for it to work.
- Use the copy control on the row. The link is your hub URL with
?haff=on the end.
The gear on the row opens the editor over the page. You can change price, percentage, on or off, and who can use the link, or delete the link. Hub visibility is not edited there.
Watch the campaign
Under the lists, Campaign results starts on All links. Click hub names to watch one link or a mix. Switch Today, This month, and All time, and sort by Earnings or Views. The chart is grey until those links are used. Today and this month stay at zero until a sale is recorded in that period.
People using your links
Under the chart, Affiliates lists Kahana users on the links you are viewing. Each person shows which links they have, whether that link is request-only or open, their status, views, and what they have earned. Pending people can be approved or denied there. An example row stays at the top so the list has a shape before anyone joins.
